One of the most interesting places in Shanghai has nothing to do with the city’s roaring commercial energy. It’s the Shanghai Propaganda Art Center, a private collection of Communist Party of China propaganda posters dating from 1949 to 1979.

Dyslexia in China

There is almost zero awareness about dyslexia in mainland China, which leads to great frustration among children, teachers and parents and also means many kids miss out on a proper education. That’s something the Lang Lang school in Beijing is aiming to change. My story.

America is offering Green Cards to rich foreigners in return for interest-free loans. I was asked by the Atlantic Yards Report blog to go to a roadshow event in Beijing, where I saw US officials and company representatives insist to potential Chinese investors that the “EB-5″ scheme was a risk-free deal – but that isn’t true.
